Penta Water When we first started filming the show, I almost died from heat stroke while we were on location in Baja. I had a 106-degree temperature and was hallucinating, going in and out of consciousness. I lost all control of my bodily functions as my system began shutting down to save vital organs. The doctors tell me I was less than two hours from dying when they got the IV’s started. So when I talk about how important it is to stay hydrated, believe me, I learned the hard way.

Our bodies need on average, eight ounces of water an hour, and that’s just hanging around the house. If we’re out pulling on fish in the hot sun, it doubles. Coffee, sodas and beer actually dehydrate the system. So making sure you have plenty of high-quality, clean drinking water while you’re on the water is critical. After prolonged strenuous physical activity (typically 2 hours or more), you’ll also need an electrolyte drink to bring your electrolytes back into balance. Otherwise, drinking the cleanest drinking water you can find provides the best hydration. A good way to know if you’re getting enough water is your urine should be a light amber color.

After doing extensive research on how the body hydrates and what drinks are available, we discovered a bottling company located in Carlsbad, California, that makes Penta water. Without question, Penta is the cleanest, best tasting, healthiest water on earth. Average bottled waters run between 200-500 parts per million of total dissolved solids (the impurities you can’t see in the water). Penta is 0.5.

Any impurities, including minerals (note: the majority of minerals in water are inorganic, which our bodies cannot use) and carbohydrates in water will slow down the hydration process.

Don’t take my word for it. Test it out for yourself. Pick up a case. Drink it for a few days and see if you notice a difference.

About Penta Water

Hundreds of thousands of health conscious people have discovered that when they drink Penta, they not only taste, but also feel a difference. Among these people include many well-known athletes and celebrities, gold medalist swimmers Amanda Beard and Aaron Peirsol, San Diego Chargers running back LaDainian Tomlinson, 2002 Heisman Trophy Winner and Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer, singer/musician Sting, and actress Farrah Fawcett.

In August 2003, production of Penta was moved to a state-of-the-art bottling facility in Carlsbad, Calif., about 40 miles north of San Diego. Penta water is one of the few bottled water brands that is not co-packed (produced by a second party). By choosing not to turn over the responsibility for the product’s quality to someone else, Bio-Hydration Research Lab can personally ensure its customers that Penta water will maintain its high standards of purity and excellence.

Penta’s phenomenal popularity as “the cleanest bottled water on the market” speaks for itself. It can now be found in about 3,500 health food stores and 2,600 grocery stores in the United States. In fact, it has been the number one selling bottled water in U.S. health food stores since 2002. It is also distributed and sold in Canada, Great Britain, Japan, and Taiwan.
