With over 30 years of Award Winning production experience, Michael Fowlkes, Executive Producer/Director brings the same standards of excellence to Inside Sportfishing Television that earned him 3 National Cable ACE Awards for his work with Disney, Showtime/The Movie Channel and Paramount Pictures.
Born and raised in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, Michael started fishing almost before he could walk. His Grandfather and Dad were both avid outdoorsmen, and together they taught him early on an acute appreciation for all life. This true love and respect for nature is exemplified on Inside Sportfishing, through the promotion and practice of CPR...Catch, Photograph and Release.

Well known and highly respected in both the production and fishing industries, Fowlkes has been a United States Coast Guard licensed Captain for over 15 years. He also holds a lifetime Professorship from the University of California.
