Inside Sportfishing Pro Staff - Jenny Armstrong
Jenny Armstrong lives in Aliso Viejo, CA with her husband, 4 yr old son, and one year old daughter. Jenny grew up in the Ventura, CA area and started fishing at age 10 with her Dad on their 12ft Gregor aluminum boat. At age 15 Jenny started working on the sportfisher Pacific Dawn as a deckhand and did this for a couple years. She now fishes the family's 25ft Bahia, a Davis boat, usually in the Channel Islands area but will also travel down to San Diego and up to Morro Bay to catch fish. Jenny loves to fish for just about anything but her favorites are albacore, white seabass, yellowtail, halibut, and dorado. Jenny has also fished Baja California's East Cape area a half dozen times and looks forward to visiting more in the future. Jenny says, "As much as I love to catch fish, I also love to just be out on the water."
Jenny is very active in teaching and promoting women to fish and organizes charters and seminars for women anglers of all skill levels. Her nearly 20 years of fishing experience make her a valuable addition to the Inside Sportfishing ProStaff.
